Sonali breed is use for desi meat and desi eggs which is found in Bangladesh. Sonali breed is produced by crossing two different breeds. This breed is famous in India like desi teste. As we all know that Bangladesh was also once a part of India, therefore Sonali breed is considered as a desi chicken or breed. It weighs 1 kg in 65 to 75 days,after 90 days it looks very beautiful. Sonali chickens are well-adapted to tropical climates and require less care than other breeds. Weight of Sonali adult male is 1.8-2.0 kg and adult female is 1.2-1.8 kg. Egg production of mature sonali is 200-220 per year.
