Kadaknath, also called Kali Masi ("fowl having black flesh"), is an Indian breed of chicken. They originated from Dhar and Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh.There are three varieties: jet black, golden and pencilled.
Kadaknath chickens are small-sized and slow-growing. Roosters weigh 1.8–2 kg and hens weigh 1.2–1.5 kg.Kadaknath hens lay slightly brown eggs.

Sonali breed is use for desi meat and desi eggs which is found in Bangladesh. Sonali breed is produced by crossing two different breeds. This breed is famous in India like desi teste. As we all know that Bangladesh was also once a part of India, therefore Sonali breed is considered as a desi chicken or breed. It weighs 1 kg in 65 to 75 days,after 90 days it looks very beautiful. Sonali chickens are well-adapted to tropical climates and require less care than other breeds. Weight of Sonali adult male is 1.8-2.0 kg and adult female is 1.2-1.8 kg.
